Bio

Herbie Klinger, born in Marl (Germany) in 1956.

I picked up the guitar in the early seventies, inspired

by rock music, but soon changed the direction  

and went into jazz. Since my collage degree in

architecture in the mid eighties I`m working as a guitar teacher. 

Over the years I played with musicians like Theo Bleckmann, 

Chris Kramer, Helge Schneider, Pete York and Dave Caswell 

among others. I also made orchestra arrangements

for songs like: Hijo De La Luna, which went number one in Germany.
